in windows xp are the windows passwords of user accounts and info stored in the registry?

is it possible to make an account using the registry?

are the passwords encrypted in the registry?

if so how can they be decrypted?

    thanx

who's password are you trying to decrypt?

this seems like a borderline request... I Will let it stand for now... seeing as I have no real inkling as to the motive.. but if it falls under trying to bypass security measures... this thread will be closed...

no its nothing like that! sorry if it seemed that way, now i read i understand why u think that!

i'm not trying to decrypt anything my computer automatically logs on i dont think it has a password, i'm just trying to find things out n the registry the idea came to me wen i asked a question about policies and the password was deleted by deleting something out the registry i'm just finding out more thats all!
