Which is better?? AMD or Intel? and why?

1) Cheaper

2) Has a better core archetecture, allowing lower clock speeds to perform the same as a Pentium with a higher clock

i chose amd.

reason? because intel uses burst technology on their chips; i.e., they don't operate at listed speeds all the time - only when they need to. pooh on them for cheating customers!
