What download manager you guys use??

download manager, what does that do? tell you what you have downloaded or something?

A download manager is used for downloading things. Flashget for example splits the downloads in to diff parts (it connects to the site multiple times) so it downloads the files faster.

This is only if they throttle each connection though isn't it? I mean they have a set amount of up bw so w/out throttling you would be getting all there is for you ... that make any sense?

the only real reason for a download manager os for resume, scheduling, and que

if you ahve to breaak off a download, the manager will be able to resume from where you left off

also, you can schedule downloads for when you'r not there

the main thing for me is que

I set my manager to download only one dl at a time...this way, I can download withour using too much bandwidth

I can also just clicky clicky away at other downloads, and they won't start till the one before finnishes

I've had as many as 100 downloads sitting in que

I've always used Getright. I've grown too dependent on Getright saving downloads by extension and I don't really want to switch. I probably have downloads over 4 years old in my download folder.
