Hey, i am looking for a product like this: http://www.iogear.com/products/product.php?Item=GCS84A
to toggle between. Does anyone know of any other product that is better? Do you loose screen quality, and is it bad for gaming and so forth?

anyone seen any reviews? (if you watch TechTV they have something to toggle between comps on 1 monitor and keyboard)

KVM switches, especially the cheap ones, can cause really strange graphical problems (for example shadows in the picture) when you run high resolutions and/or high refresh rates. Don't really know where the limit goes or if it affects normal gaming though.

do you mean like really high on 1280x1024 at 85hz or something higher? i want to buy the http://www.iogear.com/products/product.php?Item=GCS84A read anything about that one?

Don't know really, I never used KVM switches, just read about them at forums and stuff. But I believe that as long as you keep the cable short there shouldn't be any problems. But I don't really know. Have you searched for tests on KVM switches?

yea, and i bought the one that i linked above. I will let you know if there are any problems. I did look at two reviews of KVMs and i found that there should be no performance kill, and that the MiniView is kinda over the linksys one.
