I have been using the WebKit nightly and it flies. I have never zipped around the web so fast. It is insane!

Not only that, but with my normal selection of apps running, much less CPU time is being used. As soon as I open up the non-webkit Safari more CPU time is taken up just having it running in the background with some tabs open.

I have not compared memory usage, so that is something I will have to do next. The speed improvements are absolutely mind boggling though.

Agreed, WebKit is quite speedy. Plus it's the first publicly available browser to hit 100% on Acid3, though I do notice the nose is slightly off on Acid2.

Interesting, hadn't thought of visiting the Acid2 test since Acid3 was passed.

As for the nightly builds, I use NightShift, avilable here: http://web.mac.com/reinholdpenner/Software/NightShift.html

I've got it set-up to open via cron at something like 3am every day so I've always got the latest nightly installed.
