My ISP provides me with webspace in which I host a website, I want to move the entire site to another web hosting company. The domain name is 'web forwarded' to my current webspace.

My question is the site is nicely indexed on google and other search engines
will this affect the site being indexed once moved.

    Geezer.

Google will likely not care as all of the content will still be accessible under the same domain name.

Nope, it wont matter, Google links to your fqdn not ip address, I've moved web hosts a bunch and it has never done anything to my Google results.
