This is kind of strange. Just happen the other day. It is showing the connection as not connected in the taskbar. If I click on the network icon in the taskbar you can see the error message.

I can not open Network Connections or the Network and Sharing center. It just hangs with a blank screen and I have to kill the process. Any one have any ideas? I am lost.

I am using a wireless connection.

Nah, I guess I could try a wired connection and see what it does :duh: After that I could reinstall the drivers.

I would look through the device manager and maybe look for hardware related problems as well ...
