how do you go about cropping video files? or, do you know of any good tutorials for VirtualDub?

If you can recommend a more noob friendly editor please let me know..

In VirtualDub, open up the file, goto Video > Select Range. Here you can set the start offset, length and end offset of the video in either time (ms) or frames. Don't know of any tutorials, but I'm sure a search on Google would come up with something (I'm just to lazy to do the search myself) :)
