My anti virus is telling me i have a virus,i know what it is,i know where it is.
So here,s the problem, yesterday i downloaded something that had a virus in it,no problem,i got rid of it,so today my a-v keeps giving me a virus warning for the same virus but somehow it is in c:\System Volume Information\_restore{xxxxxxxxxx....
and it tells me to run the a-v program, which isn`t finding it,so i did a search for it but access is denied.
The thing is its an exe file so it wont cause problem unless i execute it but the warning keeps coming up every couple of hours. Is there any way i can gain access to system volume information.Any help appreciated.

It's been backed up to a restore point in the System Volume Information Folder. Gain access to the folder (see the link below) and delete the latest restore points. Or just go to disk cleanup and delete them.
