Time Out Download Failures

I attempted to download Windows XP Service Pack 1 (133 MB) and experienced a failure similar to previous ones with other Windows versions and hardware.

The transfer starts out just fine but becomes progressively slower ending in the error message "timed out."

This only happens with large files, typically larger than 10 MB.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Try using a download manager. Netvampire is free but it is ad supported. Ads are not annoying.

not sure how to fix it but try using a download manger as they normally download faster becuse they download from multiple locations and if your download gets interrupted you can normally resume the download

THE ANSWER!!!

Hipster Doofus was "spot on" with his reply to my inquiry. Thank You.
