Thermal Pad vs Compound

    Which is better for the CPU & heatsink? Thermal pad or thermal compound. Is there much of a difference for getting the heat away or are they pretty much doing the same job?

    If your not overclocking IMHO dont worry about it, if your going to over clock then its compound and Arctic Silver is the most highly recomended.


    But if you have Gremlins around then I would be worried no matter what you use. :p

    Just got rid of the bloody GREMLINS. Took a couple of months to track them down. Damn mother board.

    Arctic silver it is then............& POOF, the gremlins are back. :p
