As said in Lancer's review of his mouse, his old mouse did the random swirly thing. It also happens to me, on my wireless optical mouse. Im walking around in a game and all of a sudden i'll swirl around. I figure this is the best place to ask: What causes this? and is there any way to change or fix this?

Thanks,
Jack

I heard you might need to blow out the light, like there's a hair or some fuzz in it.

who makes it?

I know some MS meeces has it too.

My new razor copperhead does it on these dusty office desks.

just get some alcohol on a qtip and clean the sensor... you'd be surprised- even optical mice need to be cleaned every now and then...

This is a problem with the sensor not picking up enough light from a surface, and thus it thinks it is being moved very rapidly across a surface. I have that problem with my current Logitech mouse, and it is a pain.

That being said, if anyone has a replacement mouse they want to get rid of? (Those MS optical mice work really well) let me know :p

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
