How can I change the location of the temp directory. Dup-DVD uses this directory by default and of course it's on c:\ where my partition is smaller. So I would like to move it to e:\ where I have more space.

    Press The Windows key+Pause.
    Click Advanced.
    Press Alt+N.
Under the two settings under User variables, double click each one and point to E\:Temp or wherever you want.
Under System Variables use the scroll bar to scroll to two more settings and point them to E:\Temp or wherever you want.
    Click OK
    Click OK

Thanks for the tip although that area does not have the variable for "C:\temp". It only has variables for C:\Windows and C:\Documents and Settings\insert username\Local Settings\Temp.

I prefer the old fashioned way. Go to System Properties, Advanced Tab, Environment Variables button at the bottom of the screen you see. A the top you'll see the variables for your temp directory.

My way is the same as Allan's - just uses keyboard shortcuts, not mouse clicks! ;-)

No argument alehouse - I just find it easier to navigate with my mouse. ;)
