Taking ownership of program files

    OK - still having a bad (worse!) day...

    I have taken full ownership of the USERS... But the file that is breaking things for me and I cannot delete is in program files/Mozilla thunderbird!

    SOOooo i woudl liek to take ownership of program files

    But access is denied if you try to do that - again I searched forum on this, got zilch.

    VISTA Business BTW.

    right click on folder, properties, security, edit - add yourself there and give yourself full rights, then click on advanced, owner, click edit select your name and tick replace permissions on subcontainers and objects.

    But then again you dont trust my advise do you
