So how do you get the little monitor icon to stay away using Sp1? Mine keeps coming back. I've deleted and renamed till the cows come home...... No luck sofa!

i don't use SP1. i just keep up to date w/ windows update, minus that POS SP1 (i did upgrade to SP1, noticed it was phoning home all the time, and when i reformatted, i went back to plain ole XP).

If you mean the bitmap then zalood explained what to do up there ^^^^^^. Open windows explorer then set the view to unhide protected files. Now have a look for those folders & rename/remove the file.

Try do a search for sysdm.cpl . . include hidden files/folders.
