Sygate Personal Firwall help

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed 'Sygate Personal Firewall'

Please can someone help me on out to use it correctly.

I use ntl broadband so I need to make sure that the firewall allows the lease and ip to be updated or I will lose the connection.

Can someone please help me.

well it has nothign to do with that, the firewall will only stop apps or packets that are not authorized from passing through it.

It should work with no problems if it doesn't please list exactly what it is stopping and I will be more then happy to help u. IP to be updated is not a problem, lease I don't think it will effect that as well. Find out what ports it needs to pass through and I will help you.

Firewall should not interfere with the IP updates; only blocks packets of data; etc.

If you are really wanting to know how to use it - you might try buying the product and reading the instruction manual - sounds cruel - I know
