you can fit (7/18)*(the length in minutes of the file) minutes on a 700mb cd

Its not th length of minutes it the size of the movie. Cut up for svcd into 690 mbs then burn them to cd's.. Get dvtool to cut up large movie files or go to vcdhelp.com or org i dunno

  4. You can put up to 800 Mb on a 700 Mb disc when burning a (s)vcd.
And take Suppliciums advice and check out http://www.vcdhelp.com
This site has A LOT of info.

    Good luck

i believe in the originating post, you asked for "how many minutes can i fit on one cd" so i answered it... if the file is 1.8 megs, and you can fit lets say 700mb on a 700mb disc than the ratio 700/1800, which is the same as 7/18 will be roughly the same ratio as ( the number of minutes on one disc/the number of minutes in the whole movie), doesn't that make sense?
