I've got an 800 Mhz Pentium III Dell Dimension desktop. After upgrading to XP, my audio pops and stutters. I've done the following things, with no relief:

    1. Upgraded the drivers of my SoundBlaster Live! Value sound card.

    2. Upgraded my RAM from 256 to 512 MB.

    3. Replaced the SoundBlaster card with a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card.

    4. Shut down every background process imaginable.

    Any help out there?

  2. What player do you use?

It happens with whatever I use, RealJukebox, WindowsMedia, MusicMatch, you name it.

Heh. Well I'll be damned. Maybe I'll give that a shot to make the movies in RA2 produce audio correctly and maybe it'll even stop my freezing. ;)
