My probem is with Windows XP if I try to Reboot my computer it goes through the regular bios screen then says to insert a bootable disk because it can`t find the hard drives .. I have to turn off the power on the computer to restart it then it boots right up ok. Any ideas out there what could cause this? You can email me at

I'm only going to guess on this because I've had similar experiences. I think something on the motherboard itself is weirding out. You might check and see if there are any bios updates that address the issue.

might be a lost cmos error, it happens on some motherboards i've
    read about.
