Starting Off...?

For somebody that knows nothing about java or c++ except that it is a type of lauguge.

I really want to learn this stuff so that i can make things and just know it !


What do you guys think is the best way to start to learn it ??

i'm doing computer studies @ my university, i'm learning C as part of my course, and in two years time, switching from C++ to C# as part of the 'technology advancement' scheme

i am also studying C++ at school, in my opinion its one of the best ways to learn this type of thing, becuase if you have trouble you can get help fairly easily.
