Can someone PLEASE give me a way to get rid of this folder. It should not be there. It's impossible. (yeah right) I've tried almost every method. It's on my 'D' drive so I can't use the command prompt. Is there somewhere in the registry that keeps these settings in memory or maybe the msconfig? :(

    Command prompt gives me this:
D:\ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    :(

Bummer. No matter the command. Example....D:\del Progra~2
All it does is empties the folder, it will not delete it.

The command to remove a directory is remdir or rd

  6. goto ctr+alt+del , close explorer, then goto run in taskmanager select browse and del that folder . i think that should do it. good luck
