Just as a bit of fun I decided to boot my gf's 98 machine in logged mode and got these errors.

    [000E09EC] Dynamic load failed C:\WINDOWS\system\IOSUBSYS\smartvsd.vxd : [000E09EC] Not a valid device - possibly corrupt

    [000E0B17] Dynamic load failed C:\WINDOWS\system\IOSUBSYS\smartvsd.vxd : [000E0B17] Not a valid device - possibly corrupt

It is the same fil in two locations. What does this file do, and where can I get a not possibly corrupt version of it??

For anyone else getting this problem, find the file, and rename it to smartvsd.hp
