Share a scanner in XP net

Hello!

Does anyone know a simple way to share a scanner in a WinXP Pro network?

The scanner doesn´t appear in the explorer. I have tried to rightklick on it in Controlpanel and scanner but I can´t find a share option anywhere.

I have searched the net but al I can find is a program called netscan but it seems to be very complex. And it uses mail to transfer the picture (?)....

Does anyone know a simple way to share a scanner?
