ok, is there anyway u can extract a setup.exe without using a install sheild, eg like winzip.

I don't quite understand what you are asking, but, if the setup program is inside winzip you have to extract it inorder to beable to use the program. There are other programs you use, like "pk-unzip, but you do have to use something inorder to get the setup prgram out of the compressed folder. You want to unpack an uninstalled program from the installation files without installing it right? Then it's not the "setup.exe" you should unpack, it's the "data1.cab".

well i want to get those files without running the setup.exe .
