i'm not sure if you can perm delete them...they are part of the useless BS protected by the system file protection, to truly get rid of them you'd have to delete them from there and the Dllcache folder too I believe
Make sure your installation directory isn't available first off, then go to the x:\windows\system32\dllcache folder and delete it/them, then go into the x:\windows\system32 folder and delete it. XP Is going to whine about "my system file is gone so I 'might' crash on you now" message the next time you go into display properties, but it's ok, pat it on the monitor and say "these things happen, I'll make it up to you."
You could also start you system up in Safe Mode Dos prompt by pressing F8 at the initial boot screen and delete your *.scr files from your windows\system32 directory and restart your system.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
