Downloaded a program from here a while back that allowed you to save the position of your icons on the desktop. All you have to do is right click on any icon, and click either save position or load position (or something to that effect) and it would rearrange them for you. A real helpful app to have when updating your video driver. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called though. Anyone know? Thanks!

I tried the link but the installation process tells me that it is not suitable for XP?

    Can anyone help?

I am using Icon Saver. If you have five $ to spend version 2.1 has some nice features.
The older freeware version 1.2 still available here .
