Is there a way to run programs in the system tray. I want to put outlook in the tray. I have win 2000 and office 2000. I know you can do it with XP or mimimzer XP.

Thanks

i use rbtray, gives you the option to put every program in the taskbar with a leftclick on the minimize button

also PowerMenu, it lets you tray things and do transparency

If it is Outlook, not Outlook Express you don't need a third party application.

For Outlook 2000

Open regedit, navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Office\ 9.0\ Outlook\ Preferences

create a new dword value

MinToTray and set it to 0x00000001 (1)

yeah that does not work I tryed that before I posted.

I like power Menu. Working good so far.

Thanks for the help

Enyo, you're right doesnt work in Outlook 2000, only in Outlook XP. :(

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
