I would like to know how to remove the My Sharing Folders, folder.

I removed the other 2, but how do I get rid of that one?

Go to start, run and enter this -

    regsvr32 -u -s "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\fsshext.dll"

What exactly is that, and what does it do?

I was expecting some kind of regedit hack...

and I dont have MSN Messenger, I have Windows Live Messenger, meaning I have Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger

WLM installs a shell extension for the Shared Folders feature. "regsvr32 /u" simply unregisters the DLL for it.

You can also use TweakUI. It's under My Computer.
