Is there any way to permanently remove the disconnect networking icon in the system tray? The damn thing keeps coming back after rebooting.

Yeah that should solve the problem.

Go to Network connections, right click the network connection (that you donot want to appear in the system tray) select properties.... Here you will find a check box below under the 'General Tab' saying - "Show icon in notification area when connected". Just uncheck it. Now the Network connection will not be displayed in the system tray.

Hope this helps..

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
