I have recently uninstalled Autocad 2000 but I still have the 2 icons for the program listed in the control panel. Does anyone know how I can remove these?

    1.Use search tool
2.Find all files with .cpl extensions
3.Find the name that matches the file you want to delete.
ex. you want to remove autocad icon on control panel,
you should remove the autocad.cpl file

I did a search for any files with that extension but I didn't find the files I was looking for.

note that your search tool has to look for hidden and system files. If you check this option you will find the files.

Use the software effective file search.

Just use google search and you'll find it.
