how do i get to my registry editor so i can overclock my graphics card?
ive found the registry editor i just need to get into my additional properties of my video card??
there is a pretty complete tutorial right on this site for Nvidia Based cards i dont know about other brands but if yours isnt Nvidia i suggest you post another msg with the brand and possibly model so some1 smarter than me can figure it out hehe
thats where i found out how to overclock it but it doesnt tell me how to get into the additional properties of my video card thats where im stuck
im using a nvidia geforce 2 mx/mx 400
I'm not sure if you did it, but you have to download the little program Coolbits and its with this program that you will overclock your card i think.
ok this is how.... right click on your desktop------>properties-------->Settings-------->Advanced-------->mine says Nvidia GeForce3 Ti 500... but yours should say whatever the name of your card is...-------->then additional properties------>then you should find tab that is added once you install coolbits.reg and reboot...
good luck -Tank
thanks ive got it sorted now not sure if i can notice any difference tho.
