I have XP and want to format c:

The thing is, I cant do it in windows since windows is on C:
and I dont know how to get to dos cause there is no way of getting there.

I have tried with F8 during startup but it just shows alot of windows options.

Is there a way to somehow exit windows when you have a dos window open?

    I need help

Make sure in your bios that you have boot to your cd-rom before hard drive. Insert your windows xp disc into cd-rom and then boot up.

Once you boot to the cd-rom, you should be able to figure it out.
