i downloaded i believe redhat 8.1 and have an older computer i wnte to install it on that currently has no OS on it, but when i put the cd in it wont autoload for me to get started on the install for Redhat what could be my prob?

Have you set the computer to boot from the CD in BIOS? Is it an ATAPI compatible CD drive? Will it boot the disk in a newer computer?

Did you just copy the iso onto a disk or did you burn it as an image file? For it to be a bootable cd it has to be burned as an image file. If your using nero start your program, click file, and "burn image".

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
