Hey guys...looks like I'm gonna need all your help again
This is my current June desktop...and you can see its pretty l33t except for the fact that the screen icons are all like this - =NAMEHERE= except the recycle bin.
I do have a txt file that explains how to change the Recycle Bin text through regedit, but that only changes it for a short time before it reverts back to the default.
This is what the text file says
WIN XP RECYCLE BIN CHANGE
start
run
regedit
Hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\shellnoroam\muicache
find recycle bin and modify it to whatever you want
exit out of regedit
right click desktop, refresh
that way i pasted up above only works for a certain time...which is a pain to keep doing
Is there a permanent way to change the Recycle Bin's text?
I have read that in XP you can right click>properties on recycle bin to change its text but this is all I get
Can anybody help me to find a way to permanently change the Recycle Bin's text in Windows XP?
