I need to create a video of me showing someone how to do something on the computer. What is the best video capture program for desktop videos? I tried uTIPu and it didn't work very well.

If your making a tutorial or presentation you should go check out Wink.

I use it all the time when trying to explain how to use a program or something else.

to add to this I wasn't too impressed with SNagit and went with CamStudio 2.5 beta. It worked flawlessly and was completely free!

http://camstudio.org/ is the link but I got the executable beta 2.5 b1 at
