problems installing msi gf4 440

im trying to install this card into a friends system but when i try to install it i get the message :

"THERE WAS A PROBLEM INSTALLING THIS HARDWARE

VIDEO CONTROLLER (VGA COMPATIBLE)

AN ERROR OCCURED DURING INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE

THE DATA IS INVALID."

Anybody got any idea how i can get this card working? he`s using win xp home.

Most likley it is a corrupt driver...try downloading it again or get a newer version.

ive tried diff versions of drivers and it still says the same.

dump the mx card

went thru two of them with no luck........

he reformatted his drive and it worked without a hitch this time.
