anybody know how to print screen in windows 2000 and xp
WITHOUT D/L ing any programs
Print Scrn key then paste into Paint
but I want to capture a window
and paint doesn't let me save Jpeg
ctrl + alt + print scrn just captures the current selected window
Did you check whether any of the applications you have can make screenshots - for instance Irfanview, Coreldraw, Photoimpact,Gimp? Anyhow if you don't have any application that can convert bmp to jpeg and you have more than a single picture on your computer imo you should get Irfanview, it's great and it is free.
yeah, Irfanview is a great little program.. good for slide shows too..
ALT + printscreen is enough to capture the active window only.
Paint v5.1 (XP) allows you to save as jpg...
do a "save as" then change the file type at the bottom.
