    have intel P4 3.2
    pci -e graphics
4 pci slots (1 filled with audio card)
    4gb of ddr400 pc3200
want to use SATA Raid 0
have 2 200Gb matched drives and a third for non-raid backup
any suggestions on what card to buy?
and is this is "good as" having Raid ports ON the MoBo
    thanks

Doesn't your motherboard have on board RAID controllers? If it is a SATA compatible motherboard the chances are that it does.

www.intel.com would have plenty of information on what your motherboard is capable of.

However, if in fact it was RAID compatible your BIOS would have an option for the device. Always boot RAID, auto, etc.

You would also have to load drivers using the F6 option of the Windows Setup.
