Tools > E-mail accounts > Add a new account > HTTP, then just put in your settings

BTW, this works only if you are Web based for email.

This is for Pop3: MSN E-mail

What are my incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) mail settings?
If you are using MSN Internet Access software:

Your Incoming mail (POP3) setting is pop3.email.msn.com.
Your Outgoing mail (SMTP) setting is smtp.email.msn.com.
If you are using MSN HighSpeed – DSL:

Your Incoming mail (POP3) setting is pop3.email.msn.com.
Your Outgoing mail (SMTP) setting is secure.smtp.email.msn.com.
If you are using a local area network (LAN):

Your Incoming mail (POP3) setting is pop3.email.msn.com.
Your Outgoing mail (SMTP) setting is secure.smtp.email.msn.com.
If you are using Compaq.Net software:

Your Incoming mail (POP3) setting is pop3.compaq.net.
Your Outgoing mail (SMTP) setting is smtp.compaq.net.

is it a hotmail account or an msn account?

i have my hotmail account working in outlook xp.
this is how i did it

    1. opened outlook (well duh... lol)
    2. went to "Tools", "Email accounts"
    3. selected "Add new email account" and clicked next
    4. selected "HTTP" and clicked next
    5. (hotmail is already selected at right side... change to msn if u use msn)
    6. enter in your name, email address, username and password
    7. click next/finish (cant remember offhand which it was)

it synchronises all folders to a new folder on my outlook (i think you gotta select "view folders" from the "View" menu to see it - not sure - i always have view folders on)

    good luck :)
