I'll try and keep this simple. I am running Outlook 2003. I have two profiles setup. One for my personal e-mail and one for my company e-mail (using Exchange/RPC over HTTP).

I want to create a shortcut that will open Outlook and automatically open the Exchange profile so I don't have to choose each and every time I open Outlook which profile I want to use.

However, I want my default profile to remain my personal e-mail profile so when I open Outlook it opens that e-mail.

I didn't feel like searching for this one on my own.

Thank you.

Never mind. I figured it out.

outlook /profile profilename

No way to delete a thread anymore?

From what I understand, the best method to do this is to enable Fast User Switching.

You can get prompted to choose your profile, or automatically open a profile, and these are the only options (best to my knowledge).

Since Outlook is profile-specific to your computer as well, you could enable fast-user switching, or perhaps run some type of software to let you switch between desktops (and profiles), you could do it that way.

User 1-Set default to access RPC over HTTP email
User 2-Personal

I know that might be a pain, but that's the only way I would know how

EDIT: heh, oops, I was doing this for memory, I don't have Outlook here :)

Glad you figured it out!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
