I was wondering if there's a way to tweak IE to open links I click from the "Links" toolbar on IE in the SAME window I have focus in. This was possible in earlier versions of IE, but I'm running XP and IE 6 right now.
The only option I see is "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" - which sucks. If I have two IE windows open, and lets say I'm browsing in the first window that I opened up and I wanna keep that webpage open and go to a new link in the second IE window. I can't seem to find a way to allow this by using the links in the "Links" toolbar. Either the link will open in the first IE window, or it will open in a entirely new IE window (which means I have to close the previous IE window I clicked the toolbar link from).
Is there a way to change this?
Keep in mind that if I go through the Favorites menu it works just how I want it to. It's just slower for me to get from webpage to webpage going through the Favorites menu.
Thanks,
Jason
