Opening a password protected rar file?...

    Hi...Silly question but is there any way to get access to a password protected rar file if you don't know the password? :confused:

    Mmm Nope. I like being a member and I got close a few times to a ban and I don't think it would be the right idea to get banned.

    Breaking into archives or password protected files is classified as hacking (at least against the dictionary definition of it :D) and therefore is not allowed here.

    If your need to open a password protected file was legitimate you should be able to obtain the password from the file's source.

    and even if you knew the tools to do this, if it's a strong password...there's a 99% chance you wouldn't crack it.
