office XP Pro missing file

Hi all. i have XP Pro on my machine and i tried to install XP OFFICE PRO and when it is about 2 thirds of the way in installation, it comes up with a message saying that it cannot get the file msvcp70.dll off the disk. i asked a mate to see if he had the file because he has XP PRO and office XP pro and he is saying that the file doesn't exist on his machine. BTW. he has successfully installed office XP PRO on his machine. can anybody help me with this???
