Nvidia reveals....

    what? couldn't very well put the WHOLE thing in the title..... would make the whole thread too obvious of exactly what it's about.

    NVidia has revealed the new QuadroPlex.... a set of video card that are external, and the base price starts out at $17,500!!!! pretty freakin wicked if you ask me. it's been said that you would need at least 20 of the latest CPU's in order for it to not be a major bottleneck.

    seeing as how they said you need 20 of the latest processors in order for the CPU portion to not be a huge bottleneck.... i highly doubt any gamers will be jumping for joy over spending $18,000 on basically a set of SLI or Quad-SLI'd Quadro cards. as far as i can tell that's pretty much all that's special about it...... still don't think that accounts for the massive price tag though.....
