How do I redirect command line output of programs from standard output/standard error output to I guess the equivalent of /dev/null in a command prompt under XP/2K? I've tried stuff like "command > NULL 2> NULL2" but they just give me files with such names as if I redirected to a file.

Thanks.

I've seen this but it was a while back (several years) so I don't really remember. Have you tried "nul" with just one "l"?. Lowercase and uppercase?

Actualy it is >nul:

Nul is actual a device similar as a diskdrive :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
