If it is the soundstorm audio, it is as good, if not better than the Audigy 2. Both have their advantages though. Do a search of the forums, this has been discussed before.

From everything I have read, the nforce2 is better than every add-on sound card, EXCEPT for the Audigy line.

One thing youhave to consider it what does it all mean in real-world terms...

I mean, can anyone hear the difference in 2 Khz in playback ?

I know that because of the power of the Audigy cards, system memory is freed up for better graphics...

    Hope this helps.

the epox boards just have a realtek audio codec chip. it won't handle eax at all. it'd be decent for listening to music, but that's about it. stick with your audigy, by all means.

soundstorm would be a different story.
