    Good Morning everyone,

I will be getting a new PC delivered in a couple of weeks with XP installed. There are one or two questions I have that you may be able to answer.

I've saved my *favourites* folder (from explorer) to CD, hoping to copy this to XP. Will this be possible?

I've got an e-mail archiver and have archived my old messages. Is it possible to copy these over to XP? Also my address book for outlook. Can I copy this to XP also?

I've always had a firewall on my old PC, but think I've read that there is already one that comes as standard with XP. Is this true?

Would value any advice on this please,

Good evening. :) Favourites won't be a problem. When ready empty the folder in xp & then load your favourites. As for the email I don't know. Depends on that program you are using to do it. Outlook does have options for saving things in it. You could use them as a back up. And yes xp has its own firewall which works well.

Cheers Hipster Doofus! 'Course it's evenin' in Oz...my Son's there right now - Manley Beach area. Yeah, I've heard differing thoughts on XP - some people luv it, others not so impressed. Will just have to wait and see. I found 98SE SOOO unstable, it's unreal. Looking forward to start using the new PC though...
