    Hmm,

I have installed the full version of Nero onto my laptop previously. I do remember that at one point, it used to detect the CDRW Drive into my laptop. However, the problem I have now is that for some reason now the only thing it's seeing is Image Recorder.

    Any ideas?

Do you see the drive in My Computer? Device Manager? Can you see it with Other Applications? Does it show up in Disk Management?

Oh yeah, I can use the drive perfectally fine. I have a Dell Latitude Laptop, which came with Roxio. It is detected and works perfectally in that. It just won't be detected in Nero.

What version of Nero do you have? Do you have all the updates for the version you are on, being 6.x or 7.x?

Has it ever worked with Nero?

My Nero Version is actually 5.5.1056 I believe. According to their website, I can only update to the highest version in that sequence, so I'm stuck to the 5.5. version. Unfortunately I can't upgrade to 6. I do know that it used to work with this drive.
