I am trying to backup my copy of BF1942, but it is copy protected. How can I copy it so my little bro doesn't scratch the cd's when he swaps between games??

    Alcohol 120.

a better way would be make an ISO if you have the hard drive space and just mount it to a virtual drive, save yourself a cd/trouble if the game is copy protected by something your burner can't burn.

mods if this is against guidelines delete my post.

You could also take a look at CloneCD.

According to the site, it supports SafeDisc, SafeDisc v2, SecuROM, DiscGuard, CD-Cops, LaserLock, Cactus Data Shield, Lock Blocks, ProtectCD, PSX/Lybcrypt, CD-Check, Dummy Files, Oversize & Illegal TOC protection.

if its burning junk disc's then your cd burner can't copy the disc which means you should try it the other way I sugested.

Use clony xxl to set the copy protection rule then use alcohol to make the backup ..
