MSN Messenger transparent pic how do you?

  1. Hi,
    haven't posted in awhile but, I noticed that some of you have a msn messenger window open in your june wallpaper post and noticed there are transparent pics inside the msn messenger window. What program let's you do that?

    just make a pic called lvback.gif put it in your msn folder and voila. dimensions of the pic must be around 164x300

    you can simply replace the .gif picture file in your MSN Messanger directory the file name is called lvback.gif if i remember correctly.

  6. Well, I found the directory C:\Program files\Messenger but, there are 2 directories one for regular messenger and MSN messenger 5.0 I put the lvback.gif file in there but, nothing.
    am I doing something wrong?

    What version of MSN are you using ??
     
  9. I'm using MSN messenger 5.0 and I pasted the lvback.gif file in that directory rebooted and it works now.

    well I dont think you needed to reboot. just close and the reopen msn... I dont know :cool:
